Platform

Booking marketplace software: launch a service marketplace with online booking

Want to launch a marketplace where providers list their services and your customers book online? You start from a platform already running in production: provider profiles, synced calendars, payments, reviews, travel zones and a full admin panel. We adapt it to your brand, your categories and your market, in your customers' language.

A platform already built, adapted to your business

The platform combines two modules: a marketplace where providers list their services, and an online booking system. You keep both, or only the one your business needs. Homie Book, an at-home beauty and wellness booking marketplace, was built on this base. We duplicate that foundation and adapt it to your brand, your categories and your booking rules: you are not paying for an experiment.

Tech stack

  • React
  • Vite
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Supabase
  • PostgreSQL

Why start from this base

  • A demanding sector
At-home booking: time slots, travel, cancellations, shifting availability. The base already handles these cases, among the hardest in online booking.
  • Several countries, several languages
Translated content, addresses organised by country, region and city, service areas: the platform opens to a new market without being rebuilt.
  • Reusable beyond beauty
The same foundation fits training providers, tradespeople, equipment rental, health practices, or a product marketplace.

What the platform already covers

  • Full provider profiles

Every provider has a public page with photos, services, prices, travel zones and verified reviews — editable from a dashboard without going through us.

  • Real-time booking

Availability is computed to the second from the provider's calendar, travel times, breaks and preparation margins — a slot is never sold twice.

  • Payments and deposits

Online payment at booking time, with optional partial deposit and automatic refund when a cancellation falls within the agreed policy.

  • Calendar synchronisation

Google Calendar and iCal are wired both ways: bookings land in the provider's calendar, and personal unavailability blocks the marketplace.

  • Loyalty and packs

Multi-service loyalty cards, session packs, date-ranged promotions and waitlists on full slots — every building block exists and runs in production.

  • Full admin panel

One back office for users and providers (verifications, availability, service areas), services and categories, customers, payments and subscriptions, invoicing, loyalty, emails, pages, blog, SEO, site images and pricing, in several languages.

Who this booking marketplace is for

This foundation fits any activity that sells an appointment or a scheduled service: institutes, therapists, coaches, on-site tradespeople, schools and training providers, creative workshops, health practices, equipment rental by the hour or by the day. It also fits networks that group several independent providers under one shared brand. If your business fits the pattern "one professional, one slot, one address", you start with 80% of the software already written — we only add what is specific to you.

Technology and code ownership

The platform runs on React, Vite, TypeScript and Tailwind on the front end, and on Supabase (managed PostgreSQL, authentication, storage, serverless functions) on the data side. Payments go through Stripe, transactional emails through Resend, maps through Google Maps. Each building block is a pay-as-you-go, replaceable service: you are never locked into a niche technology. The source code is yours on delivery: no proprietary CMS, no plugin rented by the month.

Frequently asked questions

How long between order and go-live?
Two to four weeks for a customised version, provided your content (copy, photos, categories) is ready on your side. The engineering is already written; what takes time is the business scoping and review.
Can I leave Eloshon later?
Yes, at any time. The source code is handed over, the database can be exported, the domain stays in your name. We are not a closed CMS: you can hand over to another developer or take it in-house.
What does it cost in total?
A fixed setup fee and month-to-month support, both shown on the Pricing page; the support covers hosting, database and security updates. No hidden commission, no unannounced cost.
Can the platform also do X?
Often yes. We add modules (internal chat, invoicing, affiliate programme, API) on quote, based on actual development time, with a firm price before any code is written — see "Custom feature development" in the maintenance catalogue on the Pricing page. What is already in the core stays free.
