What is product scraping?

Product scraping means automatically reading a site's public product pages to build a structured file. Each product takes one row, with its name, reference, price, variants, images and description.

You then import that file into a shop, a management system or a spreadsheet, without copying product pages one by one.

How an extraction works

1. Site analysis
You send the site address and the expected format. We check how the pages are built, how many products there are and which fields are available, then you receive a quote before any commitment.
2. Extraction
Eloshon Scraper reads the site's product pages and gathers the data. The report shows what was extracted, what is missing and why.
3. Delivery
You receive the file in the agreed format. For a shop, Eloshon Converter prepares it in your platform's import format.

Which sites can be scraped?

A site whose product pages display without an account can be scraped as long as it is not fully secured: a Shopify, WooCommerce or PrestaShop shop, a major retailer's site or a custom-built site. The analysis confirms what is feasible before the quote.

A fully locked site stays out of reach: a catalogue reserved for logged-in accounts, or automated access blocked on every page. In that case, the analysis tells you before the quote.

Only public information is read. Use of the extracted data must respect the terms of use of the site concerned and the applicable regulations.
