Eloshon Scraper help
Eloshon Scraper is a web scraper: it reads a site's listing pages and product pages and turns them into a catalogue: CSV files, a JSON file and a report. Here is what it does, what it does not do, and where to find each guide.
Checked against the software on November 1, 2026
What the Scraper does
- It starts from an address you paste: home page, category, product page or search page. It recognizes the kind of page.
- It reads the pages for free first, from your computer. When a page only shows its products with JavaScript, it opens its built-in browser, which is free too.
- It sorts every product: Accepted, To review (name or price missing) or Excluded (no name and no identifier). You decide on the products to review in Results.
- It writes a CSV of the accepted products, a separate CSV for the products to review, a
products.jsonfile with every product of the job, and a report. - It can also download the images and videos of a page to your computer, each tied to its original post by a
medias.csvfile: see Download the images and videos of a page. - It keeps every job in Jobs. A job stopped before the end can be resumed where it stopped.
What it does not do
- It never solves or bypasses a protection. When a page asks for a check (CAPTCHA, tick box, sign-in), you pass it yourself in a browser window, if Manual intervention is on, which is the default. In some cases, reading stops without opening that window: Why a site refuses to be read.
- It starts nothing paid without your agreement. Assisted unlock of a protected site is a paid service that only runs when you click: see pricing.
- It does not translate what it reads: names and descriptions stay in the site's language.
- It imports nothing into your shop. To turn the result into an import file for Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix or BigCommerce, use Eloshon Converter.
Before you read a site
Check the site's terms of use and the rights to its content (text, photos, trademarks) before you read or reuse it. Each user remains responsible for how they use the data they read. This note is general information, not legal advice.

- Results, files and the ConverterSort the products to review, find a job's CSV and JSON files, then give them to the Converter.

In your browser, with the extension
The Eloshon Scraper extension reads the page open in your Chrome or Edge, with your connection. Its panel lets you show a field with 🎯 when the automatic reading misses it or reads it wrongly: a price, options, a block of the product page.
With the software installed, the extension can also download the images and videos of the page you have open (social networks, video sites, listings, blogs…): the extension reads the page and sends the list, and the software downloads and files the media. Protected videos are never downloaded.
- Point out a price or a field in the extensionWith 🎯 in the extension's panel: prices in parts, currency, an option's price, a field's role, SEO title.
- Weight, unit price, SEO: what the columns holdWhat the weight, unit price and SEO columns contain, and where specifications and dimensions go.
- Download the images and videos of a pageSave the images and videos of a web page on your computer, each one tied to its post by the medias.csv file.
Next: the Converter
The Converter recognizes the Scraper's files as a source: you pick Eloshon Scraper as the source, then your shop's platform, and it writes the import file. The whole process is in Eloshon Converter help. What it does with the weights, the SEO title and the dimensions the Scraper reads: Eloshon Scraper files: weight, SEO, dimensions.
